What is the Sacrament of Holy Communion?
Welcome!! If you or your child are journeying with Jesus toward the Sacrament of Holy Communion, this page should help you. If you don’t find all of the information you are seeking here, please feel free to give us a call at 360-695-1366.
- Children should be over the age of seven and baptized Catholic. Please be prepared to provide a copy of the child’s baptismal certificate which can be obtained from the Parish of Baptism.
- Children should have at least one year of prior faith formation and or catechesis, such as having participated in Children’s Liturgy of the Word or Children’s Faith Formation.
- Parents and/or Grandparents must be parishioners of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic parish and should be attending Mass regularly. You can: Register Here
- Children should regularly attend Sacramental Preparation classes which will prepare them to receive both the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the Sacrament of Holy Communion.

Calendar & Registration Information
Sacramental preparation classes for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion will be held every-other Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. beginning on September 25th, 2024. Dates and times will vary due to holidays and holiday breaks. Click Here for Calendar
